I don't want to spend a whole lot on hangers, do you?

 

Here's a great idea.  Buy children's hangers (available at WalMart, dollar stores, etc.) for as little as 10 for a dollar.

 

With an Xacto knife, score the ends and then simply snap off the bottom part of the hanger.  

 

Hangers for 10 cents each!
